If there’s one thing we can all most likely agree on as parents, it’s that our kids grow up way too fast! Childhood goes by in the blink of an eye (well, for adults it does, kids probably think it creeps by pretty darn slowly!).  And when our kids’ childhoods are truly a thing of the past for all of us, we have memories in our hearts and in our minds to hold onto, and the majority of us probably have countless pictures to bring those childhood moments right to the forefront of our minds once again as well. Now think about this, wouldn’t it be amazing if those pictures were created in the most beautiful and meaningful ways possible?  What a gift it would be to our kids, to our families, and to our clients and their families to be able to document life in a way that truly displays beauty in ordinary, everyday moments.

Love of Lifestyle, a four-week online workshop, explores concepts that will allow you to do just that. Taught by Ashley Spaulding, Love of Lifestyle will help you discover how to make the most of the environment around you to craft lifestyle images that will be treasured for years to come. It will help you elevate your photography to the next level by creating images that tell stories. The workshop is designed for photographers who are comfortable shooting in Manual mode who want to incorporate principles of lifestyle photography into their work – personal or professional.

Course Requirements

Camera: DSLR (Camera that is capable of changing lenses) and a working knowledge of your camera
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Location:  Online within the Pretty Forum.
Dates: Workshop will begin Tuesday, June 13th, 2017. Lessons will be presented every Tuesday for 4 weeks, and may be accessed at your convenience.
Materials:  All lessons will be in written format and include video tutorials.  All PDF and video tutorials for the course are downloadable for your to reference.
Instructor: Ashley Spaulding
Time Commitment: Approx. 3 to 4 hours a week.  Non-members have access to the workshop forum for 4 weeks after the start of the class. Don’t forget to download everything you need prior to that date!  Members of Pretty Forum will have access to the workshop forum for an additional 4 weeks to review and download workshop material for future reference.
